WRITER’S RESOURCES – Where Can I Get the Best Information for Freelancers? FreelancerFAQs Review

2017-04-23.png

Are you a freelance writer?
Do I have the resource for you!

Whether you are a brand new freelance writer with no experience or education, or an old hand making a solid living off of your freelance writing, FreelancerFAQs can help you.

Just like the name implies, the FreelancerFAQs.com blog is basically the ultimate “Frequently Asked Questions” site for the freelance writer. If you can think of the question, they likely have the answer.

They even make it super easy by having categories in the main menu (see image below – click the image to go to the site).

FREEBIE!

11 ROOKIE MISTAKES – If you are new, or if you made your writer website DIY on the fly without any outside input, you may want to check out the super easy to read freebie they have to help you NOT ruin your site. (Opt-in is on the home page – super easy to find in the image below.)

Courses

The best thing about the first two courses on this page? THEY’RE FREE!

I took Elna Cain’s free Get Paid to Write Online email course and it gave a LOT of really good information. If you are a self-motivated learner and can easily take information and run with it, you could get a good start with this free course.

I had not taken Elna’s Rockstar Freelance Writer course but I am definitely going to check it out. Elna is one of the top-notch sources of information for freelancers and all of her blogs are chock full of amazing insights and information so I expect it will be up to her usual standard of excellence. I’ll update this paragraph with my take on the course once I complete it. Stay tuned!

Even Elna’s Write Your Way to $1K course is very reasonably priced and worth every penny for how much further into detail she goes beyond the free email course, PLUS the great facebook group you get access to once you are in the course. PLUS, I believe she still offers a one-on-one coaching session with the course as well. That by itself is worth the price of the course!

What if they DON’T have the answer to MY question?

Here’s the best part! YOU’RE A FREELANCE WRITER. If this site can’t answer your question, you can do the research and write up a post to PITCH TO THEM as a guest post!

Check out their posting guidelines and format your answer accordingly and you could land yourself another line item on your portfolio/resume!

Be sure to check out FreelancerFAQs.com for yourself and see how awesome it is. Once you do, leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading,
Niccolea

UPDATE:
When I had originally written this, I had NOT pitched to FreelancerFAQs. Since then I have and they accepted my pitch! Dreams do come true!
